Updating Shipment Status & Handling Claims
Updating Shipment Status
1. It is important to update the shipment status of each order to inform merchants of the latest shipment updates.
Please note that FMI will not be able to process payments if the shipment status is not updated once delivered.

2. Once the claim period has passed, the order status will be updated to “Completed”. No further action will be needed, and FMI will process payments for your order according to your usual payment schedule.
Handling Claims
1. Merchants will have 48 hours after shipment arrival at the destination port to raise any claims. An email notification will be sent for you to check on the details of the claim and decide whether to accept, reject or communicate with the merchant.
