Publishing A.L. to your sub-account merchants

Publishing A.L. to your sub-account merchants

Availability lists are the vendor’s listings of ready-to-purchase products, including prices and packing units per box for you to choose from. You can select to view the A.L. that has been published to you by the vendors. Prices displayed to you may also differ based on the departure or arrival ports, product types etc.

To publish the A.L. to subaccounts, click on the “Publish to Subaccounts” button.

  1. Select a specific price pattern that you would like to apply to that particular A.L.

  2. Selecting the subaccounts you would like to publish this AL to.

  3. Finish by clicking on the “Publish”button

Alternatively, you can also create a new price pattern by clicking on “New Price Pattern” button.

To accommodate your pricing strategy, FMI’s price patterns allow you to fully customize prices that each subaccount will see. You could also set a custom price directly to the subaccount if there is a pre-agreement between both parties.

By clicking on the “New Price Pattern” button, you can create a new pattern allowing you to convert the currency and also apply an increase or decrease to the price.

For the pattern title, a memorable name can be inputted.

The first panel would be the currency conversion, which allows you to sell to your subaccounts in the local currency by applying a set of exchange rate on all prices of the A.L..

Additionally, the first rule of the pattern will be pre-added for you. You can also set a memorable name for the rule, so it is easier to identify what this rule consists of later in the future. Follow the rule’s self-explanatory instruction in the form of “When I sell to {any subaccount} then {adjust price}” and select options based on your pricing strategy.

A rule can be moved upwards or downwards with the arrow buttons on each rule header. If there are multiple rules with overlapping conditions (“When I sell {product} to {destination}”), the price adjustment will follow the first rule that matches.

When completed, click on the Save button to save the pattern. To apply the pattern to availability lists, see the next section.
