Place/handle orders under Freight by FMI service

Place/handle orders under Freight by FMI service

Freight by FMI is a service whereby FMI will handle the freight forwarding business so that you and your vendors don't have to. With Freight by FMI, as a C&F merchant, you can now also buy from FOB A.Ls, as long as the shipping routes are covered by Freight by FMI service.

Availability lists that are published under Freight by FMI will be clearly indicated, so you will know that orders made to those will have their freight handled by FMI. For more information about how to place orders, click here.

Once the vendor has confirmed the order items, we will work with you on the freight and you will only need to choose either to accept/ reject the freight quote for the order.

Once the freight quote has been accepted and the order updated, the freight quote status will automatically change from “Confirming” to “Confirmed”. The next step is to wait for your vendor to issue the invoice for the order.
